Patterns, Cartoons and Conspiracy Theories
Animated Conspiracy Theory Exhibition
For my International Baccalaureate Visual Art Exam, I chose to experiment with the topic of current popular conspiracy theories with a contemporary art style inspired by pop-art and popular culture elements such as cartoons. These artworks follow a multimedia art form, I used a mix of mixed media, laser cutting and painting. I used a variety of software such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Inkscape to create my installations. To further enhance the theme of surveillance in society, I installed mock CCTV cameras around my exhibition space to instil a sense of being watched to my visitors.
Pattern Generation
I created a mix of patterns using the 3D effect tool on Adobe Photoshop such as the marbling feature and the mesh creation tool. Alongside, I followed a pop-art style on some graphics to follow an animated cartoon style illustration.
CA$H MONEY Artwork
Below is a take on the villains from my favourite animated television show, The Powerpuff Girls. I have illustrated them on notes and composed the artwork using Adobe Photoshop.
