Folha de São Paulo is one of the largest media companies in Brazil.
They periodically publish book collections on variated themes like: fairytales, science, universal and Brazilian literature classics, philosophy etc.
For the "Folklore for Kids" collection, they contact me to create the advertising illustrations!
I got so excited. I love the subject!
The characters (14 in total) were designed to work in variable compositions.

For the "Moura-Torta", I made a second version. I though the first one was perhaps too evil.
Although it is consistent with the character's personality, I preferred tone it down for the use in ads.
