As a person who is impulsive and with an addictive personality, I struggled a lot with finding good coping mechanisms. Especially when I was at my lowest, I would tend to find bad coping mechanisms and that sick voice in my head would say it’s ok because it brought me temporary relief, and that in itself was an addictive feeling which only cause me to do it over and over. Only for me to find out later the consequences of my own actions.
