Cruising British Columbia

Cruising British Columbia

We are cruising the wild coastline of BC.  The scale of its beauty is moving.  The silence is broken only by the wind in the pine trees, or the haunting call of the raven. These weeks have been quiet and warm, and we have enjoyed swimming off of our boat.  We can feel the season shifting to Fall, and we know that the mood of this wild place will change over the coming weeks of our journey.
Silence
What low tide reveals.
Through the fjords.
I, could drink, a case of you...
Commuter traffic
Just when you think you are really alone, neighbors drop in.
Moody skies.
Anchoring in a protective cove waiting for a thunderstorm to pass.
A white noise machine for sleeping near our anchorage.
Textures delight.
Sunrise
A different kind of island.
The scale of the mountains that surround us is amazing.
