This Must Be the Place - Talking Heads Poster

I had started this project a couple years ago without even realizing it. What began as an ordinary sketch that I never intended to finish came in handy several months later as a quick outline for a one-off coloring book project. Afterwards, it lived in my Procreate app and became a comfort file to render off and on.

Ultimately I came to the realization that the reason why I couldn't seem to let this illustration go was that it represented my recent experience with becoming a first-time homeowner with my partner. I decided to pair it with a song that made me feel a similar way and formally "finish" the project.
