"El callejon del Coco" one of the biggest and difficult sets to resolve
@Iskrameztli and I had to think in how will we make a set for a 22inches puppet who will dance in all the street (and also the animator and the camera)
The best way we found was to use forced perspective and make removable walls and floors.
Another challenge was to do that the floor really felt and look like stone pavement and keep the color palette so... we paint little stones one by one and then we glue them to get the perfect result.
At the back we wouldn't have so many shots so we did it simple
This sewer was made by Iskra, but its so beautiful and I have to show it
The alley was to be spooky so we kept the design of the doors with faces and sharp teeth
My work basically consisted in dressed the set, keep the order, and the colors on palete. Most of the props were made by Yuri in home office so I also had to be pendant about de features to match with the set.
