While working at GoPro, we were planning productions for the GoPro Hero 8 and GoPro MAX launch videos. One of the productions we did was a GoPro Winter Athlete Summit at Mammoth Mountain in California.
Personally, I'm a huge winter sports fan and I ski and snowboard. It was a lot of fun to get the boys together in one spot and shred some park laps. The goal was to get some excellent winter product photography, advertising and branding content, while also having a good time. I made several overnight assets for the athletes, these would just be for fun on their Instagram accounts, as well as GoPro's Instagram - while the more impressive content we captured was saved for the launch videos and advertising assets.
