49 waltzes for the five boroughs

proposal of visual identity for the project 49 waltzes for the five boroughs by john cage. john cage originally created this work in 1977 on a commission from rolling Stone, where the work appeared as a map with the waltzes overlaid in triangles, later composing a written score of the 147 addresses, grouped into 49 waltzes. a number of realizations have been made of this music from recording waltz sounds at all 147 addresses, to the remarkable mode dvd of chance determined video snippets from all 147 points.
the lines represent the crossing of the streets, and each neighborhood intertwines with its guide.
were used in cmyk pattern as perspective of different scales and points of view of the same urbanism, colors as differences in environment.
the background comes to refer to the gray of the asphalt, as a base space for the demarcation of john cage’s experience when crossing the neighborhoods.
for a more interactive experience of the project, it was proposed that the lanes be connected to the gps, and when the person was in a certain neighborhood, the other lanes would go up and only the current location would remain. then came the location point on the map
