When I was a child, my mother had this tiny frame in our bathroom with a quote I found very intriguing. I'd often stare at it from the shower and became hypnotized by the cryptic wording:
"you think you lack everything,
and you only lack a few flowers
to have everything to spare"
Several years, two moves and two sisters later, my mom found this picture frame in a box. I laughed with her because now the message seemed obvious: All you need are flowers!
With this surface pattern collection, I want to make a homage to flowers and deliver it with a joyful and fresh voice.
