BreastScreen Australia is a joint public health initiative of the Australian federal and state governments, aiming to reduce illness and death from breast cancer by detecting the disease early.
We created a video series aiming to inform against misinformation and stigma, educate women on the breast screening process, and inspire them to go and get their breast screen. All whilst sharing the stories of four breast cancer survivors, speaking candidly about their experience with BreastScreen Australia's free mammogram program. To help decrease anxiety surrounding the sensitive topic, we balanced the emotional piece to camera interviews with brightly animated sequences to highlight the poignant moments of each woman's survival story.
