Capturing Alyxandra into one single portrait is next to impossible. You start with her charm and end up falling into a rabbit hole full of shiny bobbles of every shape, size and colour. In fact, her writing studio alone is a wonder-lust of trinkets, and just like her, a place full of marvelous little secrets waiting to be uncovered.

So, the only way that I could pin Alyx to 'paper' was by relying on a unique authenticity that is felt when I am near her and after a cursory look at some photographs of her, I chose to draw her portrait strictly from memory. It is from our memories that we know each other best.
