The idea was to give an impression of one of the key findings in the
work published by Zhang et al. in 2022.

The image shows an MHC-proficient tumor cell (bottom) recognized and eliminated by an antigen-specific T cell (petrol), which secretes TNF (blue swirl). When RNF31 in cancer cells is targeted by a small-molecule inhibitor, MHC-deficient cancer cells that are not recognized by T cells become susceptible to TNF-mediated bystander killing.
