By chance I came across the petition to save the animals in the Oderthal through an friend. The animal suffering had not left me alone, so I did some research on the internet and found a hashtag campaign #RettetdieTiereimOdertal (Save the Animals in the Oder Valley), which was started by Animals United.

I drew a raccoon trying to escape the rising water and called on other illustrators to join in. Heidrun @wildpeppermint.design, Belette @belettelepink and Heike @hs_illu.art have already joined in, which I think is sooo great. Thank you so much!
