The Chimera Foundation Website Design
A Website Design for an NGO created by me to tackle the problem of child marriage in India which has seen a significant increase due to the pandemic. The programs devised use education as a medium to reduce the practice of child marriage.

On doing research, I realised that education played a vital role in curbing child marriages as girls get empowered and fight for their rights and parents see prospects of a better future for their children and let them continue their education.

The Chimera, a Greek mythological creature which is part lion, part goat and partly a serpent symbolises wisdom, diligence and strength, being a fitting name for the foundation as it represents the wisdom, diligence and hardwork of the girls who strive for self sufficiency and to get an education.
The home page of the website.
The program page for the 'Learn and Earn Schooling Program' which helps empower girls by teaching them important skills and crafts to make themselves self sufficient.

Since the girls are earning through schooling, families are more likely to permit their children to attend school and complete schooling.
The program page for the 'Remote Learning Radio Program' which helps children learn lessons without having to physically attend school.
