Specializing as the direct-from-farmers spices hub from across Indonesian archipelago, Majapahit Spices most important message to deliver is for the brand to stand-out & compete on a fierce global market competition, yet still able to maintain its indigenous, historical appeal.
Taking the name from the kingdom of Majapahit, the brand was structured in a way that honor the great exploration legacy & utterly massive influence of once, the biggest most influential empire of the southeast Asia.

The Concept

The basis for Majapahit Spices logo is created by using the logotype MA as in MAJAPAHIT, and combining it with the Majapahit Royal Flag (which become the basis of Indonesia national flag as we know today) and using the distinct shape of 13th / 14th century ancient Majapahit candi / temple architectural layering style.
The real challenge for the logo is for it to be as versatile as possible, because the logo will be used on variety of applications, both in digital form as well as real-life usage, from web banner, favicon, social media, to packaging, crate boxes, stamp, etc.

Having an efficient yet attractive website is crucial in B2B market, and with majapahitspices.com we are trying to create the website as an effective business tool. Because of the products nature, any detailed information on display can be changing on a daily basis. That is why me & the clients decided it is best to keep the user journey as simple as possible: Presents information clearly, and direct any user to contact straight via WhatsApp or email.
This method resulted in higher call-to-action percentage than average, and with digital brochures available for download and can be easily shared during contact, the communication between the client and user became more meaningful & engaged.​​​​​​​

for customer.
Some of the design follows strictly on the current style for brand-awareness purposes. Using our signature hand-drawn coffee flower illustration throughout various output makes the Majapahit Spices brand easier to recognize, and easier to remember.
