Black Farmers' Network Illustration
I got the chance to work with BFN again and this time was just as wonderful. We came together to create a piece depicting Small Town USA. I used the same BFN Black girl I illustrated before, this time her hair in an afro puff high ponytail wearing a white blouse, overalls, cowgirl boots under overalls walking down the street from a profile perspective documenting her community history with pen and pad in hand. This illustration gave me the opportunity to use a more dull and muted color palette. The intention was to make the illustration have a way-back-when look.
