Temporal Spaces | Sense of Belonging | Impact of Place | Intended Design vs Nature
An embodied experience of place: Does place serve a purpose that is subjective to the person or reflective of its intended design?

This question was grounded in four main elements; sense of place, connection to country, urban vs natural areas, and lived design. Sense of place is established as constantly in a state of flux, as individuals form place attachments and meanings from visual, social, environmental or cultural factors. The lived experience of a designed space constructed through the design that determines what we value and who exists within the representational frame of ‘who we are’. Our place based surroundings simultaneously shaping and are shaped by the user. Hence, the analysis of this ontological design providing understanding of the multitude of realities that co-exist within this world and the ontological infrastructures that affect the societal and tangible landscape.
