A short movie about my friend Umay, who has been actively doing Capoeira and has won European Championship. 

I used our school's basketball field for this photoshoot.

I have asked questions to her regarding the women's place in Capoeira, in a country where it is mostly hard to be a woman. She was happy to give her insight and talk about her experiences during her trainings. I believe it is interesting to see such a young woman, who is successful and unfortunately is exposed to gender discrimination or judgement. 

I had the opportunity to create a make-believe poster for this short movie during my graduate education in Eskişehir Anadolu University. Our Information Design professor wanted us to create a poster for an assignment in a certain topic that we are allowed to choose.
