This vase is a traffic cone with a terracotta pot inserted to hold the flowers. The entire piece was spray painted red with painted black dots. My intention was for the body of the vase to look like a ladybug. As a whole, the piece is utilitarian because of the styrofoam block that is holding up the false flowers. This piece could be used as decoration or for useful purposes if soil and real flowers were planted in the pot.
