Thank you for your co-operation!
It's the year 2160, the human race has depleted the Earth of all resources and fled to another galaxies. The Earth has been unoccupied for 32 years and is just reclaiming what's rightfully hers. As the atomsphere dwindled away, we wonder if it's too late?

The concept behind this piece of work was inspired by an episode I saw on the "discovery channel" (or was it nat geo? I can't remember). This show was called "Life After Humans" and showed the progression of the Earth if the human race just got up and disappeared.

It was intriguing to see how the Earth would reclaim cities and create this urban jungle, where buildings are covered with greenery, the concrete breaking away, and buildings begin to erode. But, then I posed the question as to why would we leave Earth?

The two possibilities that came to mind was that either:

a) we depleted all our resources and had nothing left to live off of
b) we all just died away
c) our atmosphere is dying our, our planet has left it's orbit and it's total chaos...doomsday

So I went to work on this idea, with option c in mind. The first thing that came to mind was a photograph I took last year in Austin, Texas. It was of a small desolate alleyway that caught my eye downtown, just off 5th street (I hope my memory serves me well).
So with this in mind, I popped open photoshop and went to work. I figured the landscape was already a good starting point with all the vines and ltrees around. All that was left was to create the havoc that I had in mind. Granted I wanted to expand this project to something a bit heavier, but with my limited time between work and my own life, I felt it would be best to call it quits right here.

So here's the final piece of work, hope you guys liked it. Drop me a comment if you have any thoughts on this work, and some appreciation if you liked it!
