This project was to design a Swiss poster based on a current event. At the time, the United States was in a standoff with North Korea. In order to create tension within the image, I utilized equal opposites and diagonal lines. Swiss design is clean and free of frivolity, so minimalism was key for the composition. 

The concept I used to further tell the story of the current event revolved around old boxing posters. The color palette was limited to each color of the two country’s flags along with black and white, plus cream which evokes a retro feeling. Placing a question mark in the middle of the image anchors all of the text, while creating just enough visual interest to make the entire piece work as a whole.
