Lighting demo - Artefacts photography

This image result demos yet another ‘lock-down’ flash-lighting experiment 😎

Used a ’defocused’ indirect focusable parabolic reflector + sunlight attachment 😎
Was after an arty feel to this image …

Wanted a hint of light on the goatee-beard,
but not too much, so used a 1/10th stop-silk placed over the flat-reflector
in front of the subject to provide, gentle, graduated fill-in light.

The sunlight-reflector once set-up.
Ensured the modelling light remained cool and switched off,
so could place another 1/10 stop-silk over the outside of the sunlight attachment too,
as to just tone-down the contrast a touch.

Placed a large curved silver-reflector between the top of the para and the right-side
of the set, provides the required rim-of-fill-in light for this image.

Our model and subject for this “lock-down-session” was
an inherited “Artefact”, an antique-item from Germany.

Findings 😎
So yes we can …
mix ‘defocused’ indirect para-light
with a 'dash-of-sunlight-fill' …
and still maintain the paras 3D lighting effects
