Sketchbook Recreation
Every page of my workbooks in high school was decorated with doodles of all kinds, using highlighters and pens. One thing that I like about doodling is the freedom of automatism.
So with my marker and micron pens, I started drawing faces out of my imagination. Using ink is great for doodles because you can't get stuck in a nightmarish draw and erase cycle. You just go at it and peacefully draw.
These next drawings are larger scale, drawn on 7x10 paper. I usually start with a marker and then add outlines and details with a Micron 1 pen.
