For my Publication Design class in Spring 2021, I was assigned to create a self portrait postcard. A postcard that used our graphic design strengths so that it described a certain side of our personality. The main requirement for this process was final project had to be formatted for the three spot color printing process.
I used PANTONE 616 C, PANTONE 7599 C, and PANTONE 7696 C since that complimented each other are colors I personally use in my work. The duotone of myself walking represented my life as commuter to York College of Pennsylvania. Since I had to visually describe myself, I naturally had to include my original characters Petite Theodóre and Friends. It's hard to not bring my creations with me, both figuratively and literally. And as a last detail to my project, I hand lettered the my nickname 'Bean' onto the art bag that I was carrying.
