CHILDHOOD MEMORY 1

Few days back when i was in my room, i saw my grandmother sitting on her bed, looking into the floor in a deep thought. It was very often I have seen her like this but it striked me really hard when I actually realised how lonely she might be feeling through these years. Our generation is surrounded with tons of electronic gadgets with which we keep ourselves busy but what about our grandparents ? We are so busy with our daily schedules that we barely spend time with them, laughing or listening to fictional stories from them. Things were so good when i was small. Those daily morning walks, scaring my my daadi (grandmother) showing street dogs, or plucking flowers during the walk for morning puja.....Priceless !! Now i understand why it is said that " Samet lo in naajuk palon ko, naa jaane ye lamhe kal ho na ho, chahe ho bhi ye lamhe, kya malum shamil un palon mein hum ho na ho ". Love you daadi.

Wo kaagaz ki kashti, wo barish ka paani, aur wo bachpan !!

Learning how to make paper boats from our parents and eagerly waiting for the rain was something we all have definitely done. Running after that little boat floating from one road to another was my favourite thing.
