Have you ever played with tetrahedrons, hexahedrons and octahedrons?
Once I got my mind clear I found playing with blocks to be fun. I really liked the shapes created with the hexahedrons (cubes). I attached them together in different ways, creating a network. I was using tape for temporary show when I found that if four cubes were connected along the edges, they moved the whole structure changing it's shape. I added more hexahedrons to do this. I then created a hinge that would allow the fixture to rotate 270 degrees. This fixture would have both an OPEN and a CLOSED setting.
While the fixture would be OPEN, it could shine more light through the bottom and the top and reflect off more of the sides. While the CLOSED mode, it would illuminate the hexahedrons from within. Allowing for a softer light.
