For many people, journalism is dead. In the age of mass surveillance and misinformation, trust in institutions is lost. Mass surveillance technologies by the government and mega corporations like Google and Amazon is inevitable. Instead of going against the current, Truth co. aims to turn mass surveillance technology into a new way to inform citizens. Truth co. promises to bring truth back to citizens at every tax bracket. Truth is affordable for everyone.

However, here is the catch. To get better truth, you need to pay more. Since we are still operating inside a neoliberal market, companies have to profit first. There are four truth plans at Truth co. For 30 dollars a month, you will get the basic truth plan, that will update you weekly about what we’ve learned from mass surveillance. For 60 dollars a month, you now can learn about how you are being watched. For 120 dollars, you get updates whenever you are being surveillance and you learn how to decode government and corporate propaganda. For 360 dollars, now you have access to surveillance others, and you can bypass mass surveillance.

The more you pay, the more truth you will get. The more you pay, the less Big Brother will be watching you. You become the Big Brother instead.

This is my design noir branding project attempt to speculate one of the worst scenario of the future neoliberal media industry.
