About the project:
I have always loved Bigfoot and loved creating art with him in it. I made this design back when I was in college and came back a few years later to add the posterization effect as well as some color touch ups.
I roughly threw together a few images to make a reference image. I then did the line work in Adobe Illustrator (completely with a mouse and keyboard). I then brought the outline into Photoshop where I added the grass, color, shading and the lens flare. The posterization effect was also done in photoshop a few years later.
