< Burano, the city of the Colored Houses >

The island - in the lagoon of Venice - is only 30 minutes by 'vaporetto' from Venice. There are about 7,000 people living there and it stands out for its beautiful and colorful houses.
How to get there? From Venice vaporettos depart to Murano, another island that is known for being the largest producer of glass, and from there in the port of Murano vaporettas depart to Burano. The cost of the transport is about 7.50 per person (this single ticket lasts 90 minutes from its first use, due to the amount of people you can use it only once and you will have to get another one on the second trip).
Anyway, this place is priceless and totally worth a visit.
