These are a few of my favorites from the large batch of images I illustrated for Dr. Howard Luk's upcoming book on longevity!

Wrapping my mind around some of these biology concepts was an absolute beast of a task. A lot of literature just spits out more jargon at you to define the basic biology terms, but that did little to facilitate true understanding. You can read and understand the words a million times, but they don't coalesce into any sort of functional knowledge.

And that's my favorite part of my job- to bridge that gap with an easy-to-understand diagram. So that the reader can hang all that jargon onto some mental scaffolding, in a way that makes sense.
