Students will design a sequence of movements and spatial experience within an existing circulation space that addresses the notion of occupancy, both.
temporal and permanent. Students will analyze immersive sensual artworks to understand cphemerality, modes of intervention, and the relationship between experience and the built environment to generate the conceptual driver for the project. The scale of the human body as a measure, students will develop a conceptual and physical framework to engage senses through
the explorations of light, color, and material. The study of time, movement and boundary will be translated into a vertical or horizontal tectonic sequence and phenomena.
