1hr Speed Painting - Portrait 1

This project showcases the 1-hour speed painting process practiced during the fifth week of the Digital Printing class. We were introduced to a more convenient way of using the brushes in Adobe Photoshop.
The image above was used as a reference source material given by the Professor for doing the in-class activity.
After the class, I learned that upon sketching the shapes of the portrait, it is best to start using hard brush to draw one solid color first for the form before using different shades of the color to form the dimension of the portrait with a softer brush. It felt unique from doing the project using watercolor or other similar traditional art tools.

Additional parts of the lessons we learned include using different type of brushes as well as options such as changing Normal to Behind to draw contents behind the layer or add proper light sources to certain parts of the portrait.
