On the ferry between Asia and Europe in Istanbul, Turkey, I tried to capture the portrait of the people inside, as it merged with the typical Bosphorus landscape (the sea, the mosque, the seagulls etc.). What made everyone as they are, sitting inside the sea, led me to call it ‘’The Swimmers’’.
