Adobe XD and the Ocean Agency

The Ocean Agency has partnered with Adobe, Pantone, and UN Environment Programme to initiate a global campaign using creativity and technology to accelerate ocean protection and climate action over the coming year.

The Challenge. Envision a mobile solution that could enable people around the world to show their support for ocean protection and climate action.
Combine a traditional pledge with a fun new way to spread the word, visually, through social media? How can we use electronic signatures (not physical pen and paper signatures) to gain support for the cause? How can the supporters spread the word to other like-minded ocean and climate change advocates using Photoshop Camera?

Identifying with the brief, we came up with a campaign Color the Corals.
Why This? We are losing coral reefs due to the warmer ocean temperatures. As they deteriorate, they lose their skin and turn fluorescent before turning white and eventually dying.  So we thought, expanding on the idea of glowing glowing gone, why not we invite millennials to bring some color and life back into the corals by signing a pledge, also by using photoshop camera filters, as an integrated part of the application to share their support and spread the word. Add on features, as they share more pictures the filters update and give them more colorful options, just like how this action will make our oceans more colorful.
Whats more, be a part of the oceanic army to give people a strong sense of being together for a cause.
In addition, brands like Crayola, and Ripleys and maybe more can help in spreading the campaign by making aware our younger generation, their parents and communities to be a part.

And Lastly, Leonardo Di Caprio, a supporter of The Paris Agreement, actor and environmentalist with over 42.9 million followers is the celebrity and an influencer to attract millions for the cause.
