National Poster Retrospecticus Tour Book
In the Spring of 2013 I set out on what would be one of the greatest adventures of my life. It was through The National Poster Retrospecticus tour that I was able to combine my design skills, show planning background, love for community based events and enthusiasm for travel and posters into one amazing experience. I was also fortunate enough to meet some of the most genuine and kindest people while on the road — most of whom shared the same enthusiasm for posters. This enthusiasm felt like fuel that helped keep us going as we made those eleven hour drives through crazy weather and deserted stretches of highway, hang 300 posters and host a packed show for one-night-only in each city.
DOCUMENTING OUR ADVENTURES
Over its 30 pages this book documents the shows origins, each stop on our three-week-long tour across the country and covers some of our process as well. While originally intended as a thank you for a number of folks who lent a hand with the tour, there has been a surprising amount of interest in picking up a personal copy of the book.
