San Biagio - St. Blaise

I started to make some saints because I really love medieval/renaissance art. I like the purity of lines and the flat colour, the elegance of faces and dress details. These are a great inspiration for me: one of my favourite artist is Ambrogio Lorenzetti. 
Plus, I'm from Tuscany and i always see this kind of figures. 

This one is San Biagio / St. Blaise. He is the patron saint of my city, Pietrasanta. On 3rd February we do a great festival with a typical fair. He's the saint protector of throat.
