Forest Society Challenge Merrimack Valley

Forest Society Reservation Challenge
A few months into the COVID-19 Pandemic I learned about the Reservation Challenge from the Society for the Protection of New Hampshire Forest to visit thirty-three of their lands across the state from the Great North Woods to the Merrimack Valley. Some places I visit frequently, others only once, everywhere I gathered pictures and videos. Please feel free to visit any of them after watching the short films I’ve made with what I collected.

I decided to group my videos in different projects according to where the reservations were located. These places were the Great North Woods, the White Mountains, Lake Sunapee, the Lakes Region, the Monadnock Area, the Merrimack Valley, and the Seacoast.

Come with me on the Forest Society’s Reservation Challenge.

Now we visit the Merrimack Valley

A recently adopted Society for the Protection of New Hampshire Forests discourages the flying of drones over their lands except when written permission is given for certain nonrecreational purposes. The drone footage I used to make these videos was taken before this policy was enacted.
