Founded in 2014, the Hougang Literary Society consists of my older sister, two of her friends and my dear mother (made an honorary member for hosting and feeding them). All residing in Hougang, the members share an ardent love for books and meet regularly to discuss different titles.
In 2017, they embarked on a journey to visit the best bookshops scattered across Europe. This publication was printed in memory of their trip and 200 copies were sold at a church fundraiser.
