THE BRIEF:
The objective was to
a. Create a soundscape with maximum 4-5 sounds which can be manipulated to any extent.
b. Listen to the sound and create a character design based on the aspects of the sound itself.
c. Work on an Experimental Animation clip based on the sound and character design created.
THE AUDIO CLIP:
The base sounds used here are a bottlecap pop, church bells, door creaking, and a waterphone
THE CHARACTER DESIGN SKETCHES:
The basis of these choices is rooted in the very nature of the sound- it is horror inducing, but in a more subtle creepy way, something we associate with the fear of insects or likewise.
THE STORYBOARD SKETCHES:
These is the final ideation for storyboards. I was unfortunately not able to finish the animation due to illness.
