Alcantara

This small collection of shots was taken in Alcantara gorges, Italy.

These gorges are known for their prism-shaped lava canyons up to 50 meters high,
originated 300,000 years ago from a mount Etna eruption
and eroded by the waters of Alcantara river since then.

These photos reveal the fascinating geometry and abstract patterns of the rocks
that the water of Alcantara river sculpted like a work of art.
Thanks for watching!
