Black-billed mountain toucan (Andigena nigrirostris)

This 45 cm mountain toucan can be identified by its white throat and light-blue chest. The spilorhynchus subspecies (pictured) has been identified in Colombia, Ecuador and northern Perú, and is characterized by a coloured strip at the base of the bill, as opposed to the completely black bill from other subspecies.
