Swimmers / Illustrations for "On the blue shores of silence" by Pablo Neruda
Swimmers is a project that started as series of illustrations for the poems of Pablo Neruda and the collection "On the blue shore on silence". Soon I started to expand the project and to try the illustrations in minimal compositions, and to create a series of cards and posters. Inspired from people that dive, that in my mind is not only a time of pleasure, but also a deep internal process, a self-isolation from the environment, the divers are connected with the poetic nature of the sea as it is expressed on Neruda's poems.
