Holiday Lope Commission
I was asked to create a colored illustration of a Lope, Grand Canyon University's mascot, with ornaments in its antlers. I ended up creating two different pieces.
Final Products
My first art piece I did. I focused on a very fun, cartoonist style to resemble a mascot
2nd version. I used a completely different style and pose, illustrating the Lope in its natural form instead of appearing like a mascot.
Brainstorming
My favorite part is always brainstorming ideas by sketching what's on my mind randomly on one sheet. I was heavily inspired by animal crossing and Thunder, GCU's official mascot.
