Expressive Form Part 01: Shape
Word Choice: Noncooperation
Approach: To demonstrate non-cooperation, i began with simple imagery. In the final draft for part 01: shape, I decided on a pattern break, the same shape going in the same directions sans one shape which is flipped horizontally and vertically.

Expressive Form Part 02: Type
Approach: For type, I had three main iterations of noncooperation demonstrating the word visually. I flipped the first three letters, the last four, and let the O's drop from the word. In the end, the first one was the most readable and original while still demonstrating the word's meaning.

Expressive Form Part 03: Hybrid
Approach: I had a hard time creating an interesting composition with negative space, but with help from Prof. Marissa Raybuck, we came to a composition that integrated my shape & text in a way that was creative and utilized negative space.
