Mascot and secondary spirit mark for a charter school in Springfield, MA. Libertas Academy already had an established "traditional" logo (upper left). They wanted to expand their collection with a spirit mark and mascot to better engage the students while also expanding their apparel selection.

The client requested a fun, approachable lion that showed excitement rather than an aggressive one. In addition, two separate clothing choices as well. The top tawny lions were the school's final choice. However, during the process I also created the silver versions which utilized the brand colors exclusively.

I wanted to tie all three together for a unified brand approach. Both the colors and the usage of the shield/crest shape from the traditional logo in the spirit mark help pull it all together.
