BRIEF
Companies like Playforever and CandyJames (Pecanpal woodys) design and create luxury collectables. Using their products as inspiration, you will design a luxury collectable. The additional source reference will be one of the following critically endangered animals, the Javan rhinoceros. Imagine that these animals have indeed gone extinct, and you are required to design a sustainable, timber, machine-inspired version to replace them. So – a timber machine that is recognizable as the source animal. It can be articulated, but need not be. You will have to design your product for batch production and create a limited production run of 3 identical copies. The department will keep one, you will keep one and any others you may sell to recoup your costs or build your personal brand.
