Onul
Onul은 보이지 않는 집 안에서의 룰을 제품으로 가시화하여 표현한 플랫폼입니다. 선조들이 삶을 잘 살아가기 위해 제시한 사회의 무형의 룰인 관혼상제를 집 안에서 하루를 잘 보내기 위한 네 가지 제품으로 빗대어 표현했습니다. 관혼상제 각각의 통과의례를 거치며 사회의 관계들이 유지되듯이, Onul의 제품과 서비스를 통해 우리의 생활도 균형을 이룹니다.
Onul is a platform that visually expresses the unspoken rules of the home through products. “Gwan-Hon-Sang-Je” (coming of age, marriage, funeral and ancestral rites) are the four traditional rituals of traditional Korean life. These represent an intangible framework created by our ancestors to allow each individual to live one's life well. “Gwan-Hon-Sang-Je” is expressed by allusion here, as four products that allow an individual to spend a day in the home in comfort. Since each of the four rituals helps to maintain our social relationships, the products and services of Onul allow us to strike a balance in our lives in the home.

선조들은 한 사람의 삶이 관혼상제 네 가지 통과의례를 거치며 사회와 질서를 이룬다고 여겼습니다.
그렇다면 삶의 축소판인 하루는 어떨까요? 삶이라는 사이클 속의 관혼상제처럼, 하루라는 사이클에도 우리 삶의 균형을 이루는데 중요한 순간들이 있습니다. Onul은 인생의, 그리고 사회의 무형의 룰인 관혼상제를, 하루가 시작되고 끝나는 공간인 집안의 제품들에 빗대어 표현하여, 사용자가 더 균형 잡힌 하루를 보낼 수 있도록 합니다.
The ancestors thought that a person’s life was balanced through four rituals of passing through the “Gwan-Hon-Sang-Je” (coming of age, marriage, funeral and ancestral rites). Then, how about a day, which is a small version of your life? There are important moments in balancing our lives in the cycle of life, such as the “Gwan-Hon-Sang-Je” in the cycle of life. Onul compares the invisible rule of life, “Gwan-Hon-Sang-Je,” to products in the house, a space where the day begins and ends, helping users have a more balanced day.

각각의 행동은 Onul을 통해 제품으로, 그리고 그 제품과 연관된 서비스로 가시화됩니다.
We have redefined the invisible rule of our society, the “Gwan-Hon-Sang-Je,” into four actions that take place in the house where one person lives. Each behavior is visualized through Onul as a product and as a service related to the product.

브랜드 네임인 Onul과 슬로건이 탄생했습니다.

The brand name Onul and slogan were created by adding the “own rule,” which means the invisible rules each of us has, to the “today” we live in.

최종적으로 제품에 담아낸 키워드를 표현한 모션 포스터입니다.
It is a motion poster containing reinterpretation of each of the “Gwan-Hon-Sang-Je” that has been developed throughout the project and the keywords finally contained in the product.
'제' 디바이스 연동 어플리케이션 ‘Onul’
어플리케이션 ‘Onul’은 사용자가 ‘상’에서 기록하고 ‘제’에서 스캔한 하루들을 데이터화하여 일정 주기로 사용자에게 전달하는 서비스입니다. 떠나간 사람을 매년 추억하듯, 지나간 날들을 떠올릴 수 있도록 하는 이 서비스를 통해, 사용자는 일상 속에서 삶의 순간들을 잃지 않고 기억하는 시간을 가질 수 있습니다.
The application 'Onul' is a service that dataizes the days that were written in 'Sang' and scanned in 'Je' and delivers them to users at regular intervals. Through this service, which allows you to recall the past few days, users can have time to remember small but certain moments of life without losing them. Just like you were reminiscing about the person who left.
Design Concept
잠들기 직전, 사용자가 직접 손으로 적은 메모들이 스캔 되어 어플리케이션을 통해 전달된다는 컨셉에서 착안하여, 사용자가 어플리케이션 내에서 실제 종이를 사용하는 듯한 인터렉션 경험을 할 수 있도록 종이의 물성을 활용하여 디자인하였습니다.
Based on the concept that notes written by hand are scanned and delivered through the application, It is designed by using the physical properties of paper so that users can experience interaction as if they are using actual paper within the application.
특별한 순간들을 간직하는 법
특별히 더 소중한 순간들은 좋아하는 책 페이지의 귀퉁이를 접듯이 메모 끝을 살짝 접어서 간직할 수 있습니다. 어플리케이션 상단 화면을 접으면 간직한 메모들을 모아 따로 볼 수 있습니다.
Precious moments can be kept by folding the end of the memo slightly, just like folding the corner of your favorite book page. If you fold the top screen of the application, users can view the notes that they kept separately.
잊고 싶은 기억을 다루는 법
잊고 싶은 날의 메모는 접어서 숨기고, 다시 날려 보내고, 찢어서 삭제할 수 있습니다. 이 과정을 통해 사용자는 과거의 추억을 떠올리는 것뿐만 아니라 과거의 잊고 싶던 경험과 감정에서 벗어나는 경험을 하게 됩니다.
You can fold and hide notes you want to forget, return them, tear them, and delete them. Through this process, users not only recall memories of the past, but also experience being freed from experiences and emotions they wanted to forget.
