Philadelphia is full of a variety of cultures, especially the arts; however it is mostly only along South Street. The city has the opportunity to expand the art culture by taking advantage of vacant lots. Vacant lots serve as a great canvas for murals, which could be painted by local artists. Towards center city there are less vacant lots, so most art is expressed through performance or musical acts. The outskirts of center city are full of vacant lots, which should all take advantage of new artist opportunities.
