‘Drop Cap’ Cover
This exercise involves generating a book cover featuring an expressive letterform as the main visual element, and is based on the Penguin Classics Drop Caps series by Jessica Hische. The letterform needs to directly relate to the surname of the author or the title.
For example: Trainspotting by Irvine Welsh, you have the option to either use a ‘T’ for Trainspotting or a ‘W’ for Welsh.
