Part I - Look #2
Intro
I called it "Art Deco Barbie", a modern mash-up of Barbie meets the 1920's era in fashion. Sparkles, glam, this collection has it all. Head to toe sequins, rhinestones, tulle and more - there is something for everyone. Let's start with the full complete collection illustrated in gouache and mixed media. What I love about the line up is that each girl has the same feel, but different personality. See lineup at bottom of page - this project focuses on

One of my biggest accomplishments was creating this look book (above) of all my designs from my senior collection. I edited all of the images in Photoshop myself, adding filters and playing with graphics to really tell the Art Deco Barbie story!
One of my favorite photos from the shoot is this back view of Look #2. I used a full rhinestone zipper for the closure and tons and tons of tulle to make the bottom layer of the dress.
This is one of my best memories from the Marist photo shoot that I was apart of. One of my design friends took a picture of me next to my favorite look.
Last, but not least, this is me rocking my own Art Deco Barbie dress! I am so proud of my collection and especially of this look because it really came out how I envisioned.
